I attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and received a BS degree in Elementary Education (Kindergarten through Grade
8) in 1975.   I received my MS degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in
1978.   I presently hold the following Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction licenses:
317 Reading Specialist (Pre-K through Grade 12)
316 Reading Teacher (Pre-K through Grade 12)
108 Elementary Teacher (K through Grade 8)
In the State of Wisconsin, I have taught in the Stoughton, Monona Grove, Verona, and Evansville Public School Districts.  
I am currently working as the elementary reading specialist in the Evansville Community School District.
I am a dyslexia testing specialist and am trained in the Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing Program (LiPS) and Orton-Gillingham
method of reading intervention.   I am also trained in Handwriting Without Tears (HWT).
I am a member of the IDA-International Dyslexia Association (http://www.interdys.org) and the Wisconsin Branch of the IDA (http://www.wis-dys.org).
I am also a member of the IRA-International Reading
Association(http://www.reading.org) and the WSRA-Wisconsin
State Reading Association(http://www.wsra.org).
At Dyslexia Center, LLC, I am available to test for dyslexia and tutor using research-based best interventions.
